I architected and developed a hybrid mobile application that seamlessly integrates with ProcessPro CRM, providing dealership sales teams with critical CRM functionality in a native mobile experience. The app delivers core features that salespeople rely on daily, enabling them to manage customer relationships, track sales pipelines, and access real-time inventory data while working on the showroom floor or in the field.
Originally built using jQuery Mobile and Cordova, I led a comprehensive rebuild of the application using Ionic and Angular, modernizing the technology stack to improve performance, maintainability, and user experience. This architectural migration transformed the app from a web-based wrapper into a true hybrid mobile application that leverages native device capabilities while maintaining cross-platform compatibility for both iOS and Android devices.
I designed the application architecture to handle real-time data synchronization with the CRM backend, ensuring that sales teams always have access to the most current customer and inventory information. The app's responsive design and intuitive interface reduce the learning curve for sales staff, enabling them to adopt the mobile solution quickly and leverage its capabilities to close more deals.
After establishing the core architecture and implementing key features, I mentored company interns through the development process, providing hands-on training in hybrid mobile development, Ionic/Angular frameworks, and mobile application best practices. I then transitioned the project to the intern team, providing comprehensive knowledge transfer, architectural documentation, and establishing coding standards to ensure continuity and maintainability as the application continued to evolve.
