As a Full Stack Engineer, I lead a team of three Backend/Frontend engineers in developing Analytics Booth, a web-based analytics platform developed by Asterisk Intelligence, a 100% credit union-owned data processing CUSO. The platform helps credit union executives and managers capture, visualize, and use data analytics to guide business decisions and minimize risk. Analytics Booth enables users to track hundreds of data points across Balance, Member, and Transaction categories, providing comprehensive analysis of loan, share, and certification portfolios, loan pools, and other key performance indicators. All of this data is delivered as real-time insights through customizable dashboards, alerts, and trend visualizations.

I designed and managed a complete front-end overhaul, enhancing the website's appearance, navigation, and usability, resulting in a more intuitive user experience and increased customer engagement. I architected and implemented RESTful APIs in PHP to connect front-end applications with databases, ensuring seamless data flow and real-time updates across the platform. I deployed repository patterns throughout the backend architecture to keep business logic reusable and easy to maintain, creating a clean separation between data access and application logic that improved code maintainability and testability. I developed server-side services for CSV processing and batch jobs using Laravel jobs and queues, significantly improving data handling efficiency and backend performance. Additionally, I implemented data masking and tokenization techniques for test environments to protect sensitive information during development and quality assurance.

The platform integrates seamlessly with CU*Answers' CORE system, automatically receiving credit union data to power the analytics engine. Analytics Booth provides tools for analyzing trends in delinquencies, account balances, membership growth, and loan pipelines, enabling credit unions to make data-driven decisions. The platform offers customizable alerts to notify users of key metric changes, allowing for management by exception, and provides access to 12 available dashboards to analyze product portfolios, member engagement, and general ledger activity with trend visualization to monitor long-term trajectories.
